Cheryl Andrix has been a MCWG member for three years. She has a passion for writing and uses her skills to assist with newsletters and assorted publications related to her husband, Don's, pastoral ministry at Emanuel Lutheran in Hamburg, MN. Cheryl has professional proofreading experience in such diverse packages as water purification and medical abstracts. Her published work includes an education/entertainment booklet for preschoolers, and a devotion for preteens, both published by Concordia Publishing House.

Beverly Snyder is the Events Coordinator for Northwestern Book Stores and a full-time personal caregiver. In her spare time she loves to read, travel, play in the kitchen, study the Bible, and talk with friends. Writing interests include fiction for children and adults, and devotionals.

For more than 20 years, Beverly has been involved with Bible Study Fellowship--several years as a children’s leader. She has taught Sunday school for all ages, coordinated Christian education, and taught and coordinated vacation bible school programs. She reads to children on a weekly basis and has also been an assistant scoutmaster for Boy Scouts.

Beverly occasionally leads workshops and speaks at women’s events.

Treasurer Keith Johnson is a self-employed business analyst. He has been a member of MCWG for approximately 11 years. His primary writing interests are poetry and commentaries on social, cultural and political issues from a Christian perspective. He has had several articles published by the Minnesota Christian Chronicle and the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Before becoming President, Delores Topliff was Publications Secretary for the Minnesota Christian Writers Guild for four years and Seminar Director for two. Besides teaching in Northwestern College and in churches and Bible Schools, she operates Creative Design Services, an editing/consulting business offering seminars and writing services. In 2009 she established TrueNorth Publishing, to publish her own and others’ books. Her poems, stories and articles have appeared by Aglow, Guideposts, Angels on Earth, The Christian Reader, Family Life Today, and other publications, plus over fifty articles in theMinnesota Christian Chronicle. Her children's book, Whoosh, appeared in 2007, and her second, The Adventures of Little Big Chief: The Bear Hunt, in 2010. Its sequel, Little Chief and Ogopogo, is being prepared for publication now. After assisting Minnesota pastor and wife, Don and Marty Pfotenhauer, inwriting their book, Jesus, Where Are You Taking Us, she is completing her second novel.

Besides writing, speaking and teaching, Topliff loves traveling. She accompanied a mission team to the Philippines in 2007, returning there and going on to S. Korea in 2010. She also guides mission/study trips to Israel.

Seminar Director Barb Howe is owner of Barb Writes, LLC. She has been a guild member for two years and a professional writer for more than 20 years. She writes personal histories for individuals and marketing communication copy for business: websites, blogs, articles, sales scripts and more. Her popular Uncovering Your Personal History TM workbook system assists individuals to collect the documents, keepsakes, photos and memories from the past to write the stories of their lives. The Minnesota Christian Chronicle, Eden Prairie News, and Home Health Aide Digest are among the publications that have printed her articles.
