Rick, 26-year veteran of the St. Paul Pioneer Press as a feature writer, columnist, and sports reporter, retired in 2006 and became a full-time novelist. His Amen Corner waspublished in March 2007. Amen Corner is the first in a series of sports-related thrillers featuring ex-Minneapolis police detective Sam Skarda. Hear about Rick’s fascinating transition from fact finder to fiction writer.
